Hi, friend: It’s Ben, Debbie’s campaign manager, with a brief campaign update.
In a moment, I’m going to ask you to chip in just $5 to help Debbie win in Florida, but before I do, I want to make sure you understand what we're up against — and why your $5 donation is so important.
With so much at stake this election, Floridians need someone they can trust — not someone who outwardly lies to his constituents.
In case you missed it, Debbie’s extremist Republican opponent, Rick Scott, recently released an ad saying he would protect in vitro fertilization (IVF). But this came one day after he voted against protecting IVF and birth control.
Unlike Rick Scott, Debbie has been clear about where she stands from the beginning: She's committed to the fight for reproductive freedoms. In fact, she's been on TV and in the news sharing her policy agenda and advocating for affordability and reproductive rights.
We need Debbie's voice in the Senate, but she has a tough fight ahead of her — especially now that Rick Scott spent roughly $1 million on new ads lying about his record.
For us to compete against Scott's million-dollar campaign, it’s crucial for us to meet every single fundraising goal from here on out. That includes our $1 million end-of-quarter goal this month.
We can't afford to fall short, and that's why we're counting on grassroots supporters like you to help. So please, friend, will you chip in $5 or more to help Debbie retire Rick Scott, keep our Senate blue, and defend reproductive rights?
