Our call for a permanent ceasefire continues, John

John, I'm sure you've heard the news: Benjamin Netanyahu is preparing to address Congress during our joint session next month. Sign here to send a message to Netanyahu and support a ceasefire >>

I'm extremely disappointed that we would allow a war criminal a platform to double down on his beliefs, and I'm ashamed that, even after President Biden expressed support for Gaza during his State of the Union address earlier this year, we're still tiptoeing around the necessity of a permanent ceasefire.

In terms of where I stand, John, I want to be as clear as I can be: since Day One, I've worked alongside my colleagues in calling for a permanent ceasefire. And while we've faced hurdles, while we've faced backlash, it won't weaken our commitment to peace, to fighting for what is right.

In over 250 days of chaos, terror and destruction, over 37,000 Palestinian people have been murdered. And everyday that there is not an enduring ceasefire, everyday that our government continues to supply their oppressor with resources,  innocent people, including Palestinian children, continue to lose their lives.

John, it is so important that we don't become complacent – we must continue to stand up for what's right. Please consider adding your name to the list of people supporting me and my colleagues as we continue to call for a ceasefire >>

Thank you,

Congresswoman Delia Ramirez
