When we think about freedom, liberty, and what that means to our nation, I
can’t help but wonder…

<[link removed]>

Friend, can the government pass a law that makes someone good?

For so long, we knew the answer to that question, but it seems as though we
have forgotten.

Sometimes we think we need a law to compel people to be better, that if
another law is put on the books, suddenly others will develop a strong sense of
right and wrong. That’s not the case though. You have to decide that on your own.

The answer to life’s toughest questions never comes from the government. They
come from God, from our neighbors, from our family, from our pastors setting an
example for us.

All of this comes down to the same basic principle of right vs. wrong and good
vs. evil. That moral compass and being guided by faith have shaped our country
since its founding. It’s ingrained in who we are, what we value, and why we
fight so hard to preserve and protect liberty. Because liberty is tied directly
to what we value and the idea that people are inherently good and have a sense
of morality.

Somewhere over time, our country lost its moral compass and deep faith.
Instead of turning to God to guide us, many Americans have looked to the
government for those teachings and guidance.

Protecting liberty and freedom starts with reminding our fellow Americans that
our rights come from above, not the government…because liberty and freedom are
a beautiful thing.

It’s even more beautiful when people come together to do good in their
communities, to live by their faith, and not look to the government to teach
them what they can and should value.

Friend, my goal has always been to fight for the values you and I share, to
protect liberty for the next generation. At a time when the Swamp diminishes
those who walk by faith and bill Big Government as the solution to all of our
problems, it’s more imperative than ever that we stand together to protect
freedom.

Will you chip in $10, $20, $25, $50, or whatever you can afford to stand with
me in this fight to preserve liberty and freedom for the next generation?

What we do right now at this moment in time will be read about in history
books. We can change the direction our country is headed down. We just have to
do it before the ink is dry.
