John,

Greetings on this summer solstice! I'm honored to have joined ISN as the assistant director of communications during the milestone moment of ISN's 20th anniversary! I've been a proud member of the Ignatian family since my undergraduate days, and it's amazing to remember moments in my own life that have intersected with ISN's history or recall where I was during those pivotal times. What memories stand out most for you in ISN history?

In this edition of "News and Voices," we invite you to celebrate our outgoing ISN board members, who helped ISN to flourish during their terms of service. In other recent news, Executive Director Christopher Kerr spent a week with global Jesuit leaders in Rome. Clarissa Aljentera, director of Education for Justice, facilitated the first "Cultivating Renewal: Engaging Signs of the Times" gathering for secondary educators. Finally, in response to President Biden's recent executive actions related to the border, we urge you to join us in demanding that his administration restore access to asylum.

I look forward to continued engagement with you all and thank you for the ways you encourage and embody "a faith that does justice!"

Gratefully,

Andrew Hanson-Quintana
Assistant Director of Communications
