Hi John, it's Roger Lau – Deputy Executive Director of the Democratic National Committee.
Our number one priority this cycle is to re-elect President Biden and continue cultivating a strong democracy… but we know that Trump's MAGA extremism has to be fought up and down the ballot.
That's why the DNC has invested in down-ballot races across the country this cycle – with BREAKING the Republican supermajorities in the Kansas legislature at the top of our list.
John, the Kansas Democrats are working hard to keep Kansas out of the hands of Republican extremists, and we're on board – because we know that breaking these supermajorities is possible. We just need some help from the people with the most power in Kansas: grassroots supporters like you. Could you help the Kansas Dems’ important work with a donation today? [[link removed]]

Kansas is a "red state", but it's also been a hub for Democratic activity over the last few cycles: With a Democratic Governor, a U.S. Representative, and a growing number of local elected officials, it's clear that the Kansas Democrats are investing in their party – and it’s clear that their strategy is working.
But running a large party organization like the Kansas Dems isn’t easy. They've got to train, coach, and promote candidates in races across the state; help turn out voters every year; and support local parties across Kansas.
And although the work has been hard, it's been so worth it: Right now, Kansas Democrats are only a total of six seats away from breaking both supermajorities in the legislature, and Kansas can win the fight to re-elect Rep. Davids and help Democrats take a majority in the U.S. House.
That's why your grassroots support matters so much, John. This fall, we have the opportunity to protect Governor Kelly's veto and make substantial progress in Kansas.
And, winning here is key to squashing right-wing extremism in the U.S. – that's why I'm asking: Can you donate any amount today to help support the Kansas Democrats' work? [[link removed]]
