In observance of National Safety Month, New Jersey reminds residents to consume cannabis responsibly. State law permits legal purchase from licensed dispensaries, ensuring high safety standards. However, individuals under 21 are prohibited from use, and those under 25 should be aware of potential risks to developing brains. Always start with low doses, especially if you're new to cannabis or returning after a break, and avoid combining with alcohol or medication without consulting a healthcare provider.
Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals should abstain from use to prevent potential health risks to babies. Keep products in child-resistant packaging and out of reach of children and pets. Remember, driving under the influence of cannabis is illegal and unsafe.
