John,

The Biden administration just announced they're taking executive action to protect undocumented spouses of American citizens—a move that would shield about 500,000 immigrants from deportation.

As a life-long advocate for immigrant rights, I commend the President for listening to our call to grant work permits to undocumented spouses of US citizens.

I’m also pleased to see DACA recipients will be eligible for work visas, so they can continue strengthening our country through their work.

John, this announcement is long overdue, as these individuals have not only contributed to our economy but have also raised their families and children, many of whom are now tax-paying citizens.

But we cannot stop here–we need to continue advocating for comprehensive immigration reform that provides a pathway to citizenship for all deserving immigrants.

John, I will never stop working with partnering organizations, community leaders, and my colleagues in Congress to support our immigrant families across the country, but I need your support to ensure our efforts are amplified and effective. Will you donate today and help us make a difference in our fight for justice and equality?

[DONATE TODAY]

In unity,
Chuy García
