Stay Connected in Challenging Times

Our libraries might be closed but we are still here providing you with information, activities and new reads you can enjoy from the comfort of your own home.

Last week we launched the new Your Online Library webpage designed to support you whilst in lock down. It's jam packed with activities and guides from keeping the kids stimulated and learning, applying for Universal Credit, support for small businesses to lots of trusted online resources including the NHS and BBC Bitesize.

If you, or someone you know, are not a member of the library? don?t worry. You can start enjoying free access to library eBooks, eMagazines and eAudio books by joining online here. Just fill in the form and in no time at all you will be happily browsing thousands of items.

Join library staff member Stacey on Facebook today at 6pm for his first ever storytime where he will be reading the illustrated children's book, 'Pooh in the Zoo', by?Steve Smallman.?

Tune in every Monday at 11am and Friday at 6pm to watch and listen to Stacey reading a new children's story. Read along or just laugh along with us!

What?s new in eBooks in April?

Every Tuesday we will setting a fresh LEGO challenge for the family to enjoy and complete. We'd love to see your creations and hope you upload your completed masterpieces to our Facebook page for everyone to admire!

If you don't have LEGO you can join in by completing the challenge using whatever else you have to hand.
