Happy summer solstice! The longest day of the year!
Here in Michigan, we love our sunshine. Getting out on our amazing lakes is one of Randy's and my favorite things to do every chance we get.
But sunshine isn’t just for the great outdoors – it’s also the best disinfectant to keep our elected officials accountable.
Since the Supreme Court ruled on Citizens United, dark money has flooded our political landscape. John James has received millions from groups associated with the NRA, Betsy DeVos, and the Trump family. Can you imagine who’s donating and feels the need to hide their money through dark money funnel operations? Those are John James’ bosses.
I want to bring sunlight and accountability to Congress by flipping this seat and getting John James out of MI-10. I am not accepting corporate PAC money and I will fight to overturn Citizens United to ensure that people know who is really influencing their representatives in Washington.
