Hey John,

It’s my second week as Josh’s new campaign manager and now that I’m settled in, I want to update you about our plans to win this competitive race.

After a poll showed us down by 4 points and Democrats added us to their list of most vulnerable races, we know we have to quickly expand our efforts if we’re going to win this race. So if you can rush in a donation to help us hire our field organizers, that would really help us out!

Here’s how your donation will impact our strategy:

1. Scale our organizing program. This summer, we need to knock on tens of thousands of voters’ doors. Our new goal is to engage with every single persuadable voter in our district.


2. Register new voters. Our district has one of the lowest rates of voting in the country. We have to register these voters early and explain why voting is so important.


3. Expand Latino outreach. We have a massive issue with misinformation targeting Latinos in our district. It is a strategic imperative to get factual, in-language information to our Latino voters. We need to expand this program and hire more spanish-speaking organizers.
