Last year, 114 million people were displaced by war, violence, and persecution according to the UN Refugee Agency.

8.6 million people in Sudan have been displaced after over a year of civil war.

6.1 million people in the Democratic Republic of the Congo have been displaced due to ongoing violence.

1.7 million people in Gaza, 75% of its population, have been displaced since conflict erupted.

Amidst the world’s largest refugee crises, women and girls are most vulnerable. That’s why UNFPA is among the first on the ground during times of crisis to ensure refugee women and newborns receive the lifesaving care they urgently need after displacement.

Today, on World Refugee Day, we’re asking you to make a special gift that will deliver aid, care, and protection to displaced women and girls around the globe: [[link removed]]

“They offered us a lifeline,” Amina , a displaced woman who UNFPA reached with violence response and prevention services, told us.

“The feeling that there is someone who cares about you, especially as a displaced person, means so much,” said Samia , another woman from Sudan.

This World Refugee Day, support refugee women and newborns displaced by conflicts and wars by making a gift. Every donation counts to those whose health and needs are too often overlooked the moment crisis hits. [[link removed]]
