Dear John,

Democracy in Wisconsin isn’t cancelled, and nowhere has that been more apparent than in Anita Johnson’s busy home office in Milwaukee over the past several weeks.

Leading up to the primary election on April 7, Anita (VoteRiders’ Wisconsin Coordinator) was inundated with emails and phone calls from voters who were scared, upset, and confused.

The COVID-19 health crisis caused complete chaos in Wisconsin’s voting process. Changes in election procedures, last-minute court rulings, and dire warnings about the dangers of voting in person were increasing by the day.

In our latest blog post, Anita explains how she activated some of her amazing volunteers and supercharged their outreach to Milwaukee voters to help them vote as safely and confidently as possible under extremely difficult circumstances.

Anita, and in fact VoteRiders' whole team, relies on people just like you to support our work helping voters. You can count on VoteRiders to provide creative, effective solutions for voters, no matter what obstacles are thrown our way this year. Can we count on you to pitch in, too?

With our utmost appreciation,
Kathleen, Anita, and the whole VoteRiders team
