Hurricane Season
Did you know 58.6 percent of U.S. residents said they had at least three gallons or 24 bottles of water, the recommended amount for each person in a household, in case of an emergency?
Hurricane season is here so be sure you?re prepared! Our Play it Safe! activity gives students the opportunity to learn how the U.S. Census Bureau helps emergency responders provide support during natural disasters. It also provides data students need to complete key tasks such as creating an emergency preparedness kit, determining states with the highest risk for hurricanes, and more.
