John, It’s the first day of summer—and we’re seeing near record-breaking temperatures of over 90 degrees in most areas of Maine. Dangerous heat waves are making their way across the country, putting our most vulnerable communities in danger of heat-related conditions like heat stroke.
Today is also the first day of our Summer Sustainer Campaign—and we at Maine Conservation Voters (MCV) are asking you to join us in our work as a Kennebec Friend monthly donor. Climate change is on our doorstep, and we need your support now more than ever.
