The Democratic Party

When my friend Keith and I started out in our new roles, we
knew that we had an obligation to make this party everything
you think it can be, Samuel.

Our party should reflect our values, our concerns, our
accomplishments, and our strength. So when we hear about how
a majority of Americans want the Affordable Care Act's
reforms to stay in place, or demand action to stop gun
violence, or support marriage equality -- we want the party
that's fighting for those things to get stronger.

And that's exactly what we'll do. But here's the kicker:

As always, we face political fundraising and reporting
deadlines. This first quarterly one of 2017 is tonight, and
then we'll produce a public report showing what kind of
shape our party is in. So, before the clock strikes
midnight, will you pitch in $3 or whatever you can?
