Our presidential candidates must address this issue comprehensively, discussing the challenges and their plans to combat climate change effectively. That includes acknowledging the real and present dangers of climate policies that ignore scientific advice, which could lead to greater loss of life and economic damage than the weather event they aim to mitigate.
