As for Ryan, he's right in pointing out that the MAGA cult leader should be disqualified from holding public office for placing himself above the Constitution. But where was this conviction when Ryan was House speaker? And why is it that so few Republicans have the courage to speak such simple truths prior to leaving office?

The law laughably describes the Ten Commandments not as the religious edict that they plainly are, but as "foundational documents of our state and national government" that they most certainly are not. For his part, Landry claimed he can't wait to be sued for his nakedly political move, as conservatives feel today's radical, right-wing Supreme Court will be more sympathetic to their religious crusade than the earlier iteration of the high court which struck down a similar law in 2005. Witness reportedly says Matt Gaetz paid her for sex
The most insufferable and least likable man in Congress has found himself in the news headlines yet again, as a new witness has come forward saying that the MAGA dope paid her for sex. The House Ethics Committee has interviewed at least six women who were witnesses in the Justice Department’s 2020 sex trafficking investigation of Gaetz, according to a new ABC News report. Investigators reportedly asked these women, some of whom are cooperating and others of whom have been subpoenaed, about Venmo payments allegedly from Gaetz and whether those were for sex. One woman told the committee that she did in fact receive a payment in exchange for sex, while other witnesses said they were paid to attend parties where Gaetz was present that included drugs and sex. Gaetz has of course denounced the expanded investigation, calling it "frivolous" and "Soviet-esque," whatever the hell that means. In addition to the latest revelations, the probe has revealed that Gaetz would show videos of his sexual conquests to other staffers and members of Congress on Capitol Hill, and bragged about using erectile dysfunction medicine-fueled energy cocktails to "go all night."
