Support more animals like George by giving today.

Dear John,

Without caring friends like you, George wouldn’t be alive today.

George’s life began at a New York petting zoo. At four months old, he weighed only seven pounds—what would be a small and vulnerable size even for a two-week-old piglet. He couldn’t compete with his siblings for food and became so sick he could barely lift his head.

Instead of getting George the care he needed, the petting zoo owner left him to die. Denied urgent medical care—as subfreezing temperatures loomed on the horizon—George didn’t have much time.

Thankfully, one zoo-goer recognized that George needed help—and brought him to Farm Sanctuary, where he will forever be free from exploitation.

John, George’s healing journey is a testament to the power of sanctuary and the many ways your support makes a difference.

When George first arrived at Farm Sanctuary, he was depressed and lethargic; healthy piglets are generally outgoing and playful. But as soon as his antibiotics kicked in, George began perking up and ultimately showed off his impressive zoomies!

Today, George is a healthy, curious, playful pig who loves belly rubs and cuddling with his friends. Your love and compassion help him live authentically each day. While he’ll likely always stay small compared to other pigs, George has a giant personality—and he holds a big space in our hearts.

That is the difference you can make, John.
