Most of the eastern United States will be hit by extreme heat through the weekend. More than 250 million Americans will experience temps above 90 degrees, with heat records predicted to hit all-time highs in 200-plus cities. That includes New York state.

While the planet continues to warm because of fossil fuels, we want you to know “we got us.” We want to make sure our communities stay safe through this extreme heat — we collected a few resources below to help you and your loved ones beat the heat.
