America is facing an unprecedented crisis of illegal immigration due to President Biden’s open border policies and failure to enforce our country’s immigration laws with potentially catastrophic consequences to our national security. America has never faced such a mass migration crisis in which quite likely more than 10 million migrants have illegally swarmed our Southern border and been permitted to freely enter the country. More “gotaways” than in the previous decade combined have joined them, skyrocketing by close to 400% since President Biden has been in office, while perhaps untold numbers of others may have also slipped in. Frighteningly, an impossible to know number of individuals on the terrorist watchlist have also snuck into the country with over 350 since Biden took office stopped at the Southern border. In fact, federal agents just arrested eight nationals from Tajikistan (the country of origin of the terrorists who murdered 139 people at a concert in Moscow earlier this year)
who had been screened at the Southern border and released into the country but who are now believed to have possible ties to ISIS. No one should be surprised given that FBI director Christopher Wray recently testified before Congress about his concerns that criminal and terrorists are streaming in from Latin America. Join us for an important and insightful discussion with expert Todd Bensman on the dangers and vulnerabilities to our country’s national security as a result of the Biden administration’s failure to enforce our immigration laws and secure our border.

About the Speaker: Todd Bensman, a two-time National Press Club award winner, currently serves as the Texas-based Senior National Security Fellow for the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) ([link removed]) , a Washington, D.C. policy institute for which he writes, speaks, and grants media interviews about the nexus between immigration and national security. He frequently reports from the southern border, in Mexico and in Latin America. He has testified before Congress as an expert witness and regularly appears on radio and television outlets to discuss illegal immigration and border security matters. Separately, he writes about homeland security and terrorism subjects for Newsweek Magazine ([link removed]) , Homeland Security Today
([link removed]) , The New York Post ([link removed]) , Townhall, ([link removed]) The Federalist, ([link removed]) the Investigative Project on Terrorism ([link removed]) , SpyTalk ([link removed]) , The Daily Wire ([link removed]) , The National Pulse
([link removed]) , The National Interest ([link removed]) , and other publications. He serves as a Writing Fellow for the Middle East Forum ([link removed]) and also teaches terrorism, intelligence analysis, and journalism as a university adjunct lecturer. He is the author of two books: the 2023 book OVERRUN, How Joe Biden Unleashed the Greatest Border Crisis in U.S. History ([link removed]) and also America’s Covert Border War: The Untold Story of the Nation’s Battle to Prevent Jihadist Infiltration ([link removed]) . For nearly a
decade prior to joining CIS in August 2018, Bensman led counterterrorism intelligence for the Texas Department of Public Safety’s Intelligence and Counterterrorism Division and its multi-agency fusion center. Before his homeland security service, Bensman was a journalist for 23 years, covering national security after 9/11 as a staff writer for major newspapers.
