**Jelly Roll Discusses Staph Infections From Tattoos**
Country music sensation Jelly Roll has openly discussed the regrets he harbors over his numerous tattoos, many of which were acquired under less-than-ideal circumstances. In a candid conversation with Howard Stern, Jelly Roll revealed that some of his tattoos, including those on his face and neck, were done in environments so unhygienic that they resulted in staph infections.
During the interview, Jelly Roll recounted an early attempt to get a facial tattoo, which was initially refused by the artist. It wasn't until after he received a tattoo while incarcerated that other tattoo artists were willing to ink his face. Stern highlighted the inherent risks of getting tattoos in prison, to which Jelly Roll admitted the unhygienic conditions and the infections they caused.
Reflecting on his past decisions, Jelly Roll shared, "I've gotten staph infections from bad tattoos. I learned nothing. You talk about bull-headed. And I still went back to the same guy that gave me the staph infection! It's crazy what you'll do. It's next-level crazy."
