Welcoming Our Summer Interns
Recently, we welcomed our first group of summer interns. We are excited to have young Mississippians come work for the Third Congressional District of Mississippi and learn about government and civics. Over the next few weeks, we will highlight our interns who are serving both in our district office and in our Washington, D.C., office. This week I am excited to highlight Hannah Hayman, who is interning with us this summer. Hannah is from Philadelphia, Mississippi, and is a rising senior at Mississippi State University. She is majoring in marketing with a concentration in integrated digital marketing. Hannah is a member of the Chi Omega-Phi Delta Chapter and currently serves as Director of Social Events. We are excited to have her join our team this summer.

Poll Results from Last Week
Last week, I asked for your input on a bill amendment I championed. This amendment includes a provision that bans the VA from flying LGBTQ+ "Pride" flags at its facilities. I asked if you thought the VA should fly any flag besides the American, state, territory, or Tribal, military; or POW/MIA flags. 93 percent of you agreed that only the American, State, territory, tribal, military, or POW/MIA flags should be flown at VA facilities Be sure to follow me on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and X to stay up-to-date on my work serving you.
