Your donation saves the lives of pets like Skippy and Smarty, shown above. These two pups were found without a mom, so young they needed daily bottle feedings to survive. 

You're saving pets like Teeny too. She was just a small tuft of fur, barely visible in her cage except for a leg cast. She was all alone at Chicago Animal Care and Control (CACC), the city impoundment facility—no mother or siblings. April was alone, too—she was the sole survivor when her whole litter came down with panleukopenia. Because of your support, we were able to rescue Teeny and April. After providing wound care and quarantine, we placed them together in a loving foster home. They’ll never be alone again. But others aren’t so lucky.

For both kittens, PAWS Chicago was their last hope.  

Chicago is in the midst of an historic surge in homeless and at-risk pets that's spreading across the country. CACC euthanized 22.7% more pets in 2023 than in 2022—PAWS responded immediately, increasing our rescues by 42%.
