The other day I posted a video about the ingredients in ice cream bars… and it really struck a nerve.
Check out some of the comments:
“Most of these don’t even classify as ice cream… it should be illegal”
“Geez, why do they allow these types of products to be sold?”
“Anyone else getting sick of having to read labels on everything on the shelves these days?!”
“It’s always so hard to make the right choice when they all are so deceiving!”
I hear you.
It is REALLY frustrating when food companies try to sucker you.
There are a slew of new ice cream bars that LOOK healthy…until you read the ingredient list.
Have you seen brands like Halo Top, Enlightened, Yasso, and Nick’s?
They promise you “100 calories” and “2 grams of net carbs”…while they sabotage you with insanely processed ingredients linked to all sorts of health problems.
Many of these “low carb” ice cream bars contain newly invented ingredients that you might not want to put into your body. Make sure to check the caption here to see why I avoid them!
WATCH NOW: Is there a healthy ice cream bar?
Share this video with your friends who might be buying any of these processed ice cream bars. You can watch & share on Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok.

P.S. Until they make a healthy ice cream bar, the best option is to make your own ice cream. I have my favorite recipes for coconut milk ice cream on the blog here (in 3 flavors!). Give this a try this summer. I promise you won’t be disappointed!
