Here’s the reality:

Last night, Eugene won his primary election and officially became the Democratic nominee for VA-7.

But our work is just beginning, and it’s only going to get harder from here.

The only way that Eugene will have the resources to win this seat and help us take back the House majority is if lots of people contribute what they can when they can.

Eugene has been a steadfast defender of our democracy and a lifelong civil servant. He’s proven it throughout his two decades of military service. He’s proven it when he risked his military career to blow the whistle on Donald Trump’s corrupt phone call and attempt to extort our allies in Ukraine. And he will prove it again when he defends our democracy from MAGA extremists as Virginia's 7th district’s next Congressman.

And if we win Virginia’s 7th district, we win a highly competitive swing district and make it that much more likely that Democrats take back the House.

The path toward flipping the House majority and returning honest leadership to the House runs through VA-7. So we need to do everything in our power to make sure Eugene wins this November.
