Late last night we learned that our opponent, Cindy Hyde-Smith, narrowly outraised our campaign during the first quarter of 2020. At the last minute, Mitch McConnell and the GOP came to Hyde-Smith’s rescue with buckets of PAC money.

But there’s good news. We outraised Hyde-Smith with individual donors -- small-dollar donors like you. And the fact that the GOP came to bail Hyde-Smith out shows that we’re putting real pressure on our opponent.

Tonight is our April mid-month fundraising deadline, so I’m asking: Will you pitch in $5 before midnight to help close the gap between our campaign and Cindy Hyde-Smith’s?

Our mid-month fundraising goal is an important moment to see where our campaign stands and if we’re financially on the right track. This is a critical time to build a network of grassroots support and put more pressure on our opponent.

I believe we’re building something bigger and better than what we did in 2018 -- which is an achievement considering we came closer than any Democrat since 1982 to win a U.S. Senate race here in Mississippi. But we can only do this together.
