Dear Friend,
I hope your summer is off to a good start. I’ve been busy meeting with Texans from Austin, to the Rio Grande Valley to Waco, and gathering feedback on how we can all work together to grow our state’s economy. Because we all know that when our big regions work together, we can do big things.
Here are some highlights:
Austin
First I met with the Austin Chamber of Commerce where we discussed ways to bring both parties together to deliver on infrastructure improvements, supporting the aviation workforce and more.
Rio Grande Valley
Next, I met with folks from the Rio Grande Valley. The Valley plays a vital role in our state’s economy from agriculture, to trade, to energy. It was great to hear from Valley leaders and small business owners and recommit to working together to make Texas even stronger.
Waco
As a Baylor alum, Waco will always hold a special place in my heart. I was honored to join the Waco Chamber of Commerce for a discussion on how our cities can work together to deliver for Texas.
Throughout my time serving as North Texas’ representative, I’ve consistently supported policies that support business, empower workers, create good jobs and grow our state’s economy. That’s why hearing directly from business leaders, small business owners and workers is so important to my work.
I’m so proud to help drive Texas’ growth and I’m excited for our continued progress.
Sincerely,
Colin Allred Member of Congress
