fight against hate, homophobia, and transphobia.
Right now, all across the country, bigoted MAGA politicians are attacking
the LGBTQ+ community—from threatening to repeal same-sex marriage and
prohibiting gender-affirming care to banning books that are written by
LGBTQ+ authors.^1
We refuse to have our rights, freedom, and dignity stripped away from us.
We are going to VOTE and help ensure our family and friends vote too.

John, beginning with the Stonewall Uprising, when queer and
trans people of color resisted police brutality, Pride has always been
about protest.
And today, MoveOn members are resisting the cruel attacks on the LGBTQ+
community—from book bans that attempt to erase LGBTQ+ authors to hateful
legislation that denies LGBTQ+ kids lifesaving health care.
But we must remember that Pride Month is about more than fighting back
against Republican bigots.
It's also about celebrating the beauty, joy, strength, bravery, and
diversity of the LGBTQ+ community.
