Dear Coloradans,
June is Gun Violence Awareness Month, and unfortunately, Colorado knows the impacts of senseless gun violence all too well. From the tragedy at Columbine High School to the shooting at the Aurora movie theater, our state has experienced far too much heartbreak. We must do more to prevent future tragedies.
This month we commemorate the Coloradans lost and by gun violence. May their memory always be a blessing to us.
We must take meaningful action to prevent further tragedies. I am committed to supporting these efforts and doing my part to enact meaningful change. This includes advocating for an assault weapons ban in the State of Colorado.
Together, we can build a safer Colorado for future generations.
