We had a big victory last week when the U.S. House of
Representatives included language in the National Defense
Authorization Act (NDAA) to restore the constitutional rights of
American citizens to due process of law - by repealing the
provision allowing for the indefinite detention of Americans
without trial.

That's the good news - and we will continue to demand this
language be included in the Senate version and the final bill.

However, that doesn't mean the NDAA is a perfectly good military
authorization bill. It would be a shock if it didn't contain
problematic and even dangerous elements.

In fact, secretly tucked deep inside the 1,000+ page House bill
is a provision that should shock every liberty-minded American:

"Except as otherwise provided in this title, every male citizen
of the United States, and every other male person residing in the
United States, between the ages of eighteen and twenty-six, shall
be automatically registered under this Act by the Director of the
Selective Service System."

That's right - the bill includes automatic registration for the
military draft.

And the draft language in the Senate version would require women
to register for the military draft!

This proposal comes at a time when politicians in the Swamp are
rabid with war fever.

The war in Ukraine has gone disastrously, but they continue to
escalate.

The risk of an all-out nuclear war has never been so great.

On top of that, they're also beating the drums for war with China
- the country with the largest economy, the largest population,
and the largest industrial base in the world.

And as all of this is happening, military recruitment in our
United States has cratered. There are multiple reasons for this,
all of them ultimately caused by the Biden administration's own
policies.

Now, the warmongers want a bigger military, and since they can't
attract young people to enlist, they want to draft them and force
them to serve.

The war machine should never have unfettered access to any
American citizen, male OR female.

Tell your U.S. Senators right now: Oppose ANY expansion of the
military draft in the NDAA.

Patriot, as Campaign for Liberty Chairman Ron Paul declared on
the House floor, the military draft is slavery.

"Liberty cannot be preserved by tyranny. A free society must
always resort to volunteers. Tyrants think nothing of forcing men
to fight and serve in wrongheaded wars. A true fight for survival
and defense of America would elicit, I am sure, the assistance of
every able-bodied man and woman. This is not the case with wars

In that same speech, Dr. Paul also quoted Ronald Reagan, who
remarked in 1979:

"...[conscription] rests on the assumption that your kids belong
to the state. If we buy that assumption then it is for the state
- not for parents, the community, the religious institutions or
teachers - to decide who shall have what values and who shall do
what work, when, where and how in our society. That assumption
isn't a new one. The Nazis thought it was a great idea."

These are strong words. But that's what it means when the
government forces young men and women to kill and die for their
country.

Congress has tried to sneak draft expansions into the NDAA
before. They know it's overwhelmingly unpopular, which is why
it's always done so quietly.

And Campaign for Liberty has been loud about removing these
changes to the draft and eventually getting them removed from the
NDAA in past years.

and let our U.S. Senators know we know what they're doing, and we

A whole generation of Americans might think the military draft is
a relic of history and it can't be brought back.

All of the machinery to reinstate the draft has been kept in
place ever since the Vietnam era. And now they want to modernize
it - for a reason.

In Ukraine, reports say military "recruiters" roam the cities
looking for able-bodied men, who are literally dragged screaming
into vans and thrown into battle. This photo was taken less than
a week ago.

That's what governments resort to when they're desperate for
troops.

We think it can't happen here . . . but most Americans didn't
think the recent Covid tyranny could happen here, either.

As the drums of war beat louder and louder, the calls to push
young Americans into military service are going to get louder and
louder.

You and I need to speak out RIGHT NOW and DEMAND all language
expanding the military draft be STRIPPED OUT of the National
Defense Authorization Act.
