I’m writing to you from Massachusetts, where we’ve already started distributing funds to dozens of undocumented families in need. We’re working around the clock to help everyone we can, but as you can imagine, the need is enormous and with each day that passes more people need our support. Our wait list has already grown to 5,000+ families and continues to increase every day.
Too many of our friends, neighbors, and family members are excluded from any federal or state relief efforts. Cooks, construction workers, folks working in retail, and so many other sectors are struggling to make ends meet and protect their families during the ongoing economic and public health crises.
