This year's event features several impactful workshops and plenaries, including a powerful intergenerational discussion co-led by Rev. Wesley Morris and Dr. Kenya Murray Morris. They share why this topic is crucial for faith leaders to address with congregations and communities.

Dr. Kenya Murray Morris
Plenary Speaker
"At a time when intergenerational bonds and church transitions are the cause of division, our plenary will explore the difficulty, but also the joys, of creative leadership transitions. We are honored to have the elder wisdom of our church founders and to bring our sense of call and ministerial creativity for this present moment. How church attendance and growth is not the only criteria for measuring success and should not stand alone at a time when our nation's soul is crying out for ‘welcome, mending, loving and freeing worship and practice.’ While survival of church congregations is primary, the effort of knowledgeable and sincere leadership goes beyond the church walls and timelines of brick and mortar. We invite questions, queries, challenges to the approach we've undertaken and offer our experience of church formation in the twenty-first century."
