Here’s something you may not know about me: In 2009, I was chosen by President Obama to serve as the NASA Chief of Staff. It was an honor to work alongside him.
Working at NASA over 15 years ago was
nothing like what we see in Congress today. When we stepped into the building, self-interest and party politics went out the door. Our work demanded that we put our differences aside to move the country forward, united.
That’s missing in Congress today.
Folks are too focused on generating online clicks and cash to advance their own careers than actually think about the long term future of our nation. And there are few worse offenders than Mike Garcia.
Rather than work to improve our community, Garcia plays puppet for Trump and the far-right. He voted in support for a national abortion ban, challenged the 2020 election results, the list goes on.
