At a time when the Trump administration should be leaning into science and implementing policies to protect public health – it is managing to do the complete opposite. Today the administration announced that they will be loosening EPA rules to allow more highly toxic mercury and other metals to enter the environment.  We’re in a middle of a global pandemic, yet the Trump administration has chosen to continue its attack on environmental protections.

Who would lose by the weakening of the regulations? All of us.

We must step up our work, but we can’t do this alone. We need your help to pull this off, can you please pitch in to help us combat this reckless behavior.

The Trump administration is unleashed. This new rule will essentially reward the fossil fuel industry who claims that keeping track of the regulations is too costly to control. We are talking about Mercury and Air Toxics Standards here!

Pitch in to support CLCV if you can. We can’t let our leaders take advantage of this vulnerable time and move us backwards. We need to hold them accountable, and we won’t stop fighting for our future.
