POC Community Care Hours

During emergency/disaster situations like COVID-19, communities of color are disproportionately impacted due to the particular intersection of disaster capitalism, settler colonialism, and racism in times of crisis. Join us in a space where people of color working in harm reduction and adjacent social justice fields can come and meet, listen to each other, provide support and share relevant knowledge and skills.

Please email accessibility considerations to [email protected].

Now Hiring: Director of Development

In the past two years, Harm Reduction Coalition has doubled its annual budget, secured a solid base of multi-year institutional support from public contracts and private institutional funders, recruited new members to its active board, and launched an inaugural grantmaking program that represents the largest single grant opportunity specifically to fund harm reduction programs in U.S. history.

We are seeking a Director of Development to serve in a key leadership role and serve on the organization’s Executive Team. The ideal candidate will create a clear case for support and investment, highlighting Harm Reduction Coalition’s relevance, vision, and impact, and build out its entire fundraising program. A central focus of the Director of Development’s work will be to develop a national individual giving program. This position can be located anywhere in the U.S. and requires an ambitious self-starter who is comfortable with growth, is excited to play a role in creating meaningful change, and can prioritize and manage multiple projects.
