Dear John xxxxxx,
Thank you to those who have been able to join us for our Virtual Fireside Chat series every Friday at 12:00pm PDT. This week, for our fifth Virtual Fireside Chat, we'll feature guests from Ventura Training Center (VTC), an enhanced firefighter training and certification program located in Camarillo, CA. Participants are people on parole who have recently been part of a trained firefighting workforce housed in fire camps or institutional firehouses operated by the California Department of Forestry & Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) and the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR).
Featured on the show will be CAL FIRE Battalion Chief Jeremy Brant, ARC's VTC Program Coordinator Michelle Garcia, and a VTC participant.
Our guests from VTC will join Sam to discuss firefighting, first responding, and the role of sacrifice in the time of COVID-19. You are welcome to submit questions in advance of the show and be sure to use the hashtag #ARCFiresideChat!

Ventura Training Center (VTC) is a partnership between the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE), California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR), California Conservation Corps (CCC), and the Anti-Recidivism Coalition (ARC).
