John, as of last week, anti-choice extremist Sam Brown is officially the Republican nominee challenging Sen. Jacky Rosen in Nevada's U.S. Senate race. Before I tell you more, will you donate now to help EMILYs List incumbents fight back?
Republicans know that their views on abortion are a political liability. In other words, Republicans know they need to start hiding their true views on abortion. Sam Brown is a perfect example; he's an anti-choice extremist who is trying to make voters forget his record on the issue.
Anti-choice extremist Sam Brown has a long record of supporting extremist policies restricting reproductive freedom.
Here's the truth, John:
Brown was the leader of Nevada's anti-abortion Faith and Freedom Coalition, which endorsed Texas' six-week abortion ban with no exceptions for rape or incest. (Before moving to Nevada in 2018, Brown ran for office in Texas and lost.) When he lost his campaign for a U.S. Senate seat in Nevada in 2021, his website was unequivocally anti-abortion — but now he's deleted those words. And in a 2022 debate, he supported letting states ban abortion, which he knows means tens of millions of Americans losing access to crucial health care based on their zip code.
As anti-choice extremists like Sam Brown try to bury their dangerous records, we're laser-focused on setting the record straight, and supporting Democratic pro-choice women who can beat them at the ballot box.
