Yesterday was our most critical mid-month fundraising deadline to date, and we had a big goal to hit: Raising an additional $250,000 from grassroots donors to defeat Mitch McConnell.

We are excited to share that not only did we hit our goal, but we also got new fundraising numbers yesterday that show between what Ditch Mitch and Amy McGrath raised, we outraised Mitch McConnell by $7.7 million in the last 3 months alone!

Despite the fact that Mitch McConnell had his best fundraising quarter ever in his 35 years in Washington, we still doubled what he raised - $15.1 million to Mitch's $7.4 million!

From the entire Ditch Mitch Fund team, thank you. Thank you for being a part of what we're doing. Thank you for donating and chipping in what you can, when you can. And most importantly, thank you for helping us to finally Ditch Mitch once and for all in 2020. People like you aren't just at the heart of what we do - you are the heart of it all. So thank you.

We can defeat Mitch McConnell later this year, and we can do it with grassroots energy and grassroots donations. Together, we are building something that Mitch McConnell has never faced before: We are building a grassroots movement strong enough, and early enough, to take him on and win.

Every dollar we've raised is helping us run a full-scale campaign against McConnell. Because we hit this goal, we have the resources to keep building out our team, to continue running digital, radio, and TV ads holding Mitch accountable, and to ensure that Amy McGrath also has the resources to introduce herself to voters.

When we defeat Mitch McConnell this November, it will be because of what we've done together. It will be because we started early, got organized, and built a powerful grassroots movement. It will be because of you.

We cannot afford to stop here. In order to defeat McConnell, Amy will have to keep raising money, keep introducing herself to voters, keep fending off millions of dollars in attack ads, and keep holding Mitch himself accountable. It's a lot to do for one campaign. That's where we come in. The Ditch Mitch Fund and its supporters like you will be the ones to help close the gap. And when we win, it'll be because we kept our eyes on the prize and never let up.
