Bridgeport Celebrates Inclusion in the Outdoors

TPL recently partnered with Pattie Gonia to promote inclusive outdoor
spaces during a festive gathering in Bridgeport, CT. One-third of
Bridgeport residents don't have access to a park within a 10-minute
walk of home. That's why TPL is helping create the Bridgeport
Waterfront Pathway, a 20-mile path linking nine neighborhoods and
connecting residents to the waterfront.

is underway! Designed by students, this space will serve the student
body as well as 6,300 neighbors, providing a climate-smart green space

by Indigenous peoples around 900 A.D., the Ocmulgee Mounds were
central to life for the Muscogee Nation. Bestowing this sacred place
