Today is the last day to vote in an election that will help determine Arlington's future for the next 4 years. JD Spain is my 1st choice: today you vote at your polling location before 7 pm. Three closing thoughts from me.
* JD is my top choice in part because he will pursue polices that will grow our economy and do so in a way that value work, labor, and opportunity for more Arlingtonians. * JD has built a strong campaign that includes many leaders I know and trust. Watch the 21 second video below and consider the coalition he will bring to the Board. People You Trust, Trust JD as Their #1 Choice (youtube.com) ([link removed]) He's run a more inclusive, listening, humbler campaign than last year and I believe that is also worthy of your vote.
* I believe JD is the best choice and he received my 1st choice. Tenley Peterson got my second choice vote. If you believe Tenley must come first and JD 2nd, I could understand that. To be clear that is, respectfully, not my choice: we need the added accountability and responsiveness that I believe JD will bring. However, it is imperative from my point of view that JD and Tenley are your top choices.

I believe rank choice will determine which candidate wins: I do not think any candidate will get to 50% through their first-choice voters. I ask that you vote for JD and Tenley because they will be best on all of the issues that will come before the County Board over the next four years.
