Oh hi, it's me, Bryant Atkins, your AYD president 😃. Sam is taking some time off, and I am hopping in to help her. I don't have the special touch she has in our weekly emails, but I hope I do her justice :)
Today is the June Democratic Primary. Arlington voters will be voting on the Democratic nominee for the Arlington County Board. There will be five candidates to choose from. They are as follows (in ballot order) along with a hyperlink to their "Why you should vote for me" statements from ArlNow:
Voters will have the opportunity to rank up to three candidates. Please note that the winning candidate must clear 51% to win the primary, therefore it is encouraged that voters rank at least two.
For more information on voting, please visit the Arlington Elections Office website . Please note that you can register to vote on the same day (be sure you are in line by 7 PM EST).
Additionally, as with last year, results for the Arlington County Board Primary may not be known until later this week due to the tabulation method and mail-in ballots.
