John,
Five year old kids in Ghana are working all day in blistering heat to pick the cocoa used in M&Ms and Snickers – and chocolate giant Mars made $47 BILLION last year off the back of child labour.
Kids should be learning to read and write, not nearly losing their fingers cracking open cocoa pods with machetes.
In the past, Mars has batted off claims that it uses child labour by claiming there isn’t concrete proof. But if we fund the legal team working on gathering this evidence, we can change that. Will you chip in to stop Mars using child labour?

Right now, lawyers are in touch with a whistleblower who for the first time will be able to identify with 100% certainty which Mars suppliers use child labour.
Now the legal team needs to travel to Ghana to begin the painstaking task of gathering evidence. This won’t be easy - they’ll need to visit dozens of small farms in Ghana’s remote cocoa belt and collect kids’ testimonies.
But with thousands of small donations from this incredible community we can give the experts the time and money they need to build a watertight case. And this will give us the best possible chance of winning in court.
This be a game-changer and finally put an end to chocolate billionaires getting rich off of child labour. Will you chip in to help fund this critical evidence gathering mission in Ghana?

Mars boasts that it rescues thousands of kids in Ghana, keeping them in school and off cocoa plantations. It even hands out backpacks and pencils to kids on the farms. But a recent media investigation showed the scheme is a sham – some of the children listed by Mars as being back at school were still working in the fields.
Mars has denied and deflected accusations of child labour in their supply chain time and again. The only way to win this is to present this shameless company with irrefutable proof – and with enough donations we can make sure that the legal team is able to do just that.
Mars is owned by the third richest family in America – it has deep pockets when it comes to defending itself in court and in the media. But we have this brave community of millions and we are determined to hold Mars to account.
We’ve stood up to massive corporate giants like McDonalds and Pepsi, and forced them to adopt more sustainable palm oil practices, saving rainforest and protecting wildlife. Now let’s help these lawyers and brave children take on Mars and help these kids get their childhood back.
