Dear John,
Over the last few weeks, we have been connecting with people all across the state checking in and offering resources to make sure we all get through this crisis together. We have seen incredible networks emerge: mutual aid groups, activist groups supporting those facing eviction, and groups dedicating their resources to make sure everyone has support, including our undocumented communities and unhoused neighbors.
What we have also seen is that our government is falling short to meet the needs of Colorado families. The "relief" package that prioritized corporations over people did not require paid sick days, mandatory PPE or hazard pay. The $1200 stimulus checks (that many still have yet to see) will only last a month at most, and the Pay Check Protection program, which intended to keep people on payroll, has already run out of money.
Congress has shown their true colors, proving they would rather protect big business over supporting the people they are supposed to represent.

We have an opportunity to elect a true People-Centered candidate this November, but in order to do that, we first need to win the primary in June!
We will be going up against two status quo candidates, that have proven time and time again: they care more about their own political careers than the people of Colorado.
Help us make sure Colorado gets an opportunity to elect a real progressive?

Thank you, and I am with you in solidarity.
Sincerely,
