Nancy Pelosi has ordered that there won’t be any scheduled votes in the House of Representatives until May 4th at the earliest. She has decided that the personal risk to Members of Congress is too great for us to go to work. The truth is, though, that for true defenders of America, there can be no such thing as a risk too great! As of this morning, the Small Business Association is out of money for the Paycheck Protection Program, which is loans for small businesses suffering from the coronavirus pandemic. I am fighting to add an additional $200 billion to help American small businesses, but Speaker Pelosi is now holding the funding hostage until she can add on billions in unrelated spending! Meanwhile, she won’t even let the House of Representatives vote on it! America is not run by tyrants and dictators. There are 435 elected Members of the House of Representatives and each one represents hundreds of thousands of Americans whose voices are being muzzled by Speaker Pelosi’s unwillingness to even take a vote!
