When my daughter was just a few months old, I took her to her first protest

Hi John, it's Lala from Sister District.

Two years ago next week, the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade and rolled back our reproductive rights.

Shortly after, I took my daughter to her first protest – when she was just a few months old.

There, we saw a sign that read: “I marched with my mother. I never imagined I’d have to march with my daughter.”

That sign stuck with me ever since. I want my daughter to grow up in a world with more freedoms, not less.

That’s why I go to work every day to help build progressive power in the states – because abortion access is being decided at the state level as we speak, and we deserve better than what Republicans are giving us.

Future generations deserve the same rights mine grew up with. But those rights are on the line this November, and we can’t protect them without your support.

So please, will you make a gift now to support Sister District and help us keep and flip states blue this November?

Two years after the fall of Roe, it has never been more urgent to elect pro-choice state legislators. Thank you for fighting with us.

Thank you 💖
