Rob was diagnosed with autism when he was just 2 years old. His parents, Joan and Al, say that doctors “didn’t know what to do with him” and even suggested institutionalizing him.
Fortunately for Rob, his parents didn’t listen to the doctors – they went to Easterseals where Rob found the comfort and stability he needed.
Today, Rob is a thriving, independent adult paying it forward in his role as a member of the team at Easterseals Community Based Services in New Hampshire. He is highly valued for his contributions to the office by both his colleagues and his managers.
Rob’s mom, Joan, who made the crucial decision to help her son by seeking out Easterseals all those years ago, is most grateful for the way she’s finally able to connect with her son.
