Since the Dobbs decision, women in states that have passed strict abortion bans have been forced to travel hours across state lines to receive care. We knew this would happen. Virginia remains one of the last states in the South that hasn’t severely restricted access or enacted a ban since Dobbs, and because of that, women across the South have looked to Virginia for the care they need.

While extreme politicians across the country seek to pass further restrictions on family planning, reproductive healthcare, and contraception, we must make sure that reproductive care remains safe and accessible here in Virginia.
