John, Nebraska is on the verge of a huge victory for marijuana reform – but Nebraskans need our help to make it over the finish line.

Nebraskans for Medical Marijuana has only two weeks left to complete an enormous signature-gathering operation to put medical marijuana on the November ballot.

For Crista Eggers — who is the head, heart, and soul of Nebraskans for Medical Marijuana — it's a heartfelt attempt to ease the pain of her son, Colton, who suffers from epilepsy and seizures. Crista has been on a five-year struggle to get Colton access to CBD and marijuana products that can help alleviate his symptoms. She has gotten close to the goal, but not quite over the finish line.

Crista's story is one of the best examples of people fighting to make democracy work and giving hope that the political process can work to make meaningful progress for ordinary Americans.
