Thanks to the support of our grassroots team, Heritage Action stopped much of the Left’s efforts to fundamentally remake America in 2023.
Democrats controlled the White House and Senate, but our activists helped block their radical agenda. Together, we:
- Forced Biden's very first veto, making him go on record against bipartisanship and support ESG infiltrating retirement savings.
- Laid the groundwork and pushed the House to pass the Secure the Border Act of 2023 (H.R.2) despite the Democrats’ opposition.
- Assisted the House in passing the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act (H.R.734).
- Directly challenged numerous bureaucratic rules and regulations from the Biden Administration.
- Forced Biden to go against bipartisanship and defend his far-left student loan bailout scheme, which was ultimately struck down by the U.S. Supreme Court.
In 2023, we expanded our efforts at the state level:
- We worked in more states (27!)
- We worked on more issues (elections, schools, protecting life, ending ESG + more)
- Helped pass 80 NEW conservative state laws.
But we couldn’t have done any of it without our critical grassroots team.

Now, as 2023 came to an end, I believe we must move forward with even bigger and bolder plans for 2024.
In 2024, we must set a vision for America — we must advance policies and legislation that show America that conservatives have a plan to govern!
Heritage Action has that plan — we have prepared throughout 2023 and have a strategy to advance bills at the state and federal level next year.
We believe America should:
- Have secure borders and safe neighborhoods.
- Become economically strong, and less dependent on Communist China.
- Protect free speech and put Big Tech in check.
- Give families a choice in education—they need the freedom to decide what’s best.
- Value the sanctity of life.
- Have a system of elections that people can trust.
- Stop spending money on Left-wing policies that hurt America.
This is the vision of America that Heritage Action is fighting for in 2024.
