You are invited to join Population Connection in celebrating World Rainforest Day with a few of our Global Partners! We're excited to host representatives from Conservation Through Public Health (CTPH), Lemur Love, and Women for Conservation next Thursday, June 27th, at 2pm ET/11am PT.
Based in Uganda (CTPH), Madagascar (Lemur Love), and Colombia (Women for Conservation), all three organizations focus on preserving their local forests through public health initiatives, and education and empowerment programs for those living in communities bordering the forests, particularly women and girls. During this panel discussion, we'll learn more about how their unique programs are adapted for the conservation challenges they face. |
